We have started this site for our Aunt Lori Vrieze, her husband Paul, and all of their amazing kids: Dana, Samantha, Clayton, Sydney, Garret, Jayla, Adrian, and Sofia.

Lori was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer, which is an invasive ductile carcinoma. The cancer went from her breasts to her lymph nodes and then to her bones. She is facing a tough battle with this horrible disease and will conquer it with the power of positive thoughts and the amazing support from all of you. Lori's treatment plan will consist of radiation focused treatment. This will also be in conjunction with IV treatments, estrogen blockers and chemotherapy pills (Ibrance). She will fight with a fierce intensity, all while continuing to be the amazing wife and mother that she is.
Lori has been a daycare provider in Olmsted County for 25 years. She has opened her home to countless children and families. She has not only provided regular child care, but emergency and foster care to the neediest of families. She, Paul, and all of their kids have welcomed each and every one of those children into their home and treated them like family. Lori has dedicated her life to taking care of others, never expecting anything in return.
Anyone that knows Lori would agree that she is a person whose presence brightens the room and radiates positive energy. Even in the toughest of times, you can be assured that she and Paul would give the coats off of their backs to someone in need. We can’t even begin to imagine the number of people that have been on the receiving end of help or kindness from them at one time or another. Now is our chance to give that back to them.
Any amount of donation is appreciated. Whether or not you are able to donate financially, please share this on social media.
