Hello friends and family, 

 Roughly two weeks ago I smashed my finger while adventuring with friends. After 3 days of the swelling not going down  I decided to check myself into an urgent care where I was given the news that my finger was not only broken but it was broken in such a way that it required a referral to a specialist and possibly surgery. 

Long story short the specialist confirmed my worst fears. I will need surgey to correct the finger and my surgery has been postponed until October 31st. For most this is a simple procedure that insurance would cover but unfortunetly through this whole ordeal I discovered my insurance policy had expired over 6 months ago. I've had to go through several different doctors as most have denied me due to being uninsured but I found a doctor who will do it for me but its going to cost $2,600 in total. I've already been paying upfront anywhere from $140-$250 for each visit I've gone to and am already more than ready to accept my fate of going into debt for the sake of getting my finger back to normal function.

With that being said I'd like to ask for help with paying for the surgery. While my injury is not life threatening it will affect the quality of my life as the finger is not only broken but slightly inverted causing very limited movement and if it heals like this my right hand would be disabled. 

This would mean the world to me if you could pitch in anything (a dollar helps!) as every penny will be going towards my surgery with the hopes of my medical debt being slightly alleviated.
