From Morgan:
“It all started the day he was born at Harris Southwest, we were in NICU for 2.5 weeks there for his blood sugars, we couldn’t get them regulated there so the transferred us to Cook Children’s NICU to see a endocrinologist for further information, we spent a week and a half at Cook and they started him on medication and got his sugars stabilized. He came home on May 14th, spent a week at home and they noticed something wasn’t right. On May 22nd, we had a scare, our little man was rushed to Stephenville ER to find his oxygen level was only at 31.. they then got rushed to cooks and half way there had to pull over and put him on a ventilator because his breathing was going downhill quickly. We got to cooks and he was in heart failure, had a infection and pulmonary hypertension all caused by the medication for his blood sugars. Everyday he is improving, but we don’t know how long we will be here until we get him healthy!”
Morgan is a dear friend of mine. She and Colt have stayed by his side, which is where they should be. Morgan will not get to return to work at her projected time because Coop will need her. The last thing this family needs right to to worry about medical bills. They need to focus on their little man and his healing. Morgan has had many people asking her if they can help, so I have opened them a GoFundMe account. I will have Morgan’s personal Venmo and PayPal attached as well. The Browns are already so grateful for everyone’s prayers. If you can’t donate, and that’s okay, I ask to please continue to keep Colt, Morgan, Harli Kate, and Cooper in your prayers. That’s what they need more than anything. Pray for healing, for the doctors and nurses and for God to bring Coop home healthy and well.
