Help my best friend see again

My best friend in the whole world was diagnosed with diabetes about 5 months ago. Luckily the vet said that his diabetes is manageable by giving him 2 insulin shots a day, however, he did warn me that a lot of diabetic dogs his age can get cataracts and potentially lose their vision. I noticed his one eye looking a bit cloudy maybe 2 months after being diagnosed, but he could still see & get around perfectly fine. About 3 weeks after noticing the initial cloudiness, both of his eyes managed to form "matured" cataracts and he is now totally blind. It breaks my heart seeing him run into walls and move much slower now from the fear of running into objects that he can't see right in front of him. It happened so quickly and I really can't stand to see him like this. He went from being super energetic and happy 24/7, to just lying on the couch because he can't run around and play how he used to. I worry that the sudden stop from being an active/ energetic playful dog is going to quickly make a big impact on his health and that scares the hell out of me. 

I took him to his consultation appointment to see if he would be a candidate for the surgery to remove his cataracts, which thankfully he is... but the surgery itself is not cheap so i decided to make this fundraiser to help get his vision back as soon possible. My monthly expenses for him have already significantly increased after finding out about his diabetes (insulin, syringes, 2 new prescription foods, special treats, ect), so the hefty price of the surgery is a lot right now, on top of just moving into my new place last week and having to furnish the whole house. 

Like I said, I can't stand seeing him like this. He means the entire world to me, so any donations towards his surgery to help him see again will be TREMENDOUSLY and immensely appreciated.
