Ramirez Family House Fire

On Wednesday morning, January 4th, my best friend Valerie, her husband Adrian and their 2 boys, AJ and Eli, experienced a devastating tragedy. That morning, they went as a family to take AJ to school, his first day back since winter break. After dropping him off, they picked up some breakfast and headed back home. When they arrived, they discovered their house was on fire, due to what they now believe to be an electrical issue in the kitchen. Unfortunately, their sweet little dog, Teddy, passed away.

Today is Saturday, Jan 7th, and Adrian and Valerie are doing all they can to put their lives back together. Their family is displaced and heartbroken. They are now having to get a rent house and replace all their items as nothing was salvageable due to severe smoke damage. Not everyone knows, but Adrian has been dealing with significant health issues for the last 2 1/2 years. Requiring multiple hospitalizations and closing their family business, they have already been walking through very difficult times.

It has been heart-wrenching for them to have to experience this tragedy right after Christmas. Let’s show the Ramirez family what love, support & generosity looks like and help them get back on their feet as they start over. Your support and prayers are so appreciated.
