Baby Maverick made his appearance December 4th, 2019 in Springfield. Jared and Katie were overjoyed to welcome their little bundle into this world. Then they recieved the news no parent ever wants to hear around 3:00 am the following morning. Baby Mav was being airlifted to St. Louis Children’s Hospital due to a condition called Aortic Stenosis.
The aortic valve in his heart is narrowed, making his heart have to work harder. It’s a rare condition that 1% of the population are born with.
Maverick will be having a procedure on 12/06/2019. They will know more after the doctors are done with that. (Updates when parents are ready to share)
Mommy and Daddy will be in St. Louis but traveling back home as needed. Both of them will be taking time off work to be with their son. So please keep Jared, Katie. Baby Mav, and the families in your thoughts and prayers. Maverick is a fighter.
Any little bit helps take some of the financial stress away. This can help with pay for gas, food, hotels, medical bills, etc. Thank you all for your support. We know this will mean so much to them.
