JUSTICE FOR JOELLA!!

Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Rachel and I am Joella’s aunt. I have created this for any donations so Joella’s mother can seek proper legal action for the Aggravated Assault on Joella Finney.

Here’s her story:

Joella has Autism, Tourette's, Sensory Processing Disorder and many other health problems. She is an AMAZING, beautiful, humorous, loving, devoted young woman. She is a True Soldier!!
Joella started attending a new school, Richland High School, in Lynnville, TN, 10 days ago when school began. She is in the
7th grade. This past Friday, August 13th, 2021 she was seen by many in the schools student pick up area at dismissal time. Her clothes, shoes and body were covered in mud, she had obvious wounds on her face, and arms and 13 welts, marks and abrasions all over her body.
She has communicated that 7 boys and an 8th grade girl were involved. The boys followed her all around the playground area beating her with sticks as they said "Haw! Haw!" (like you would say to a horse) for the entire recess. She was eventually trapped in by a huge number of students while she was assaulted over and over again by these 7 boys. The children intentionally surrounded her on the basketball court and she could not escape. Kids were shoving water bottles in her face, saying to her "Here horse, want some water?" and water bottles were thrown at her and one hit her in the face causing a large swollen area on her forehead and abrasions to her face.
An 8th grade female from the crowd came out of nowhere and purposely shoved Joella off the edge of the basketball court which she was entrapped on. After this girl shoved Joella off the edge, she turned towards the crowd, raised her hands and proudly did a motion of "That's how it's done".
There is a drop off ledge from the raised concrete of the basketball court. It is not fenced in and Joella fell down the embankment into the wooded area. They all watched, laughed and joined in as several kids and Football players recorded this TRAUMATIC Reckless Aggravated Assault.
She has been assaulted by school staff more then once, sexually harassed by many students at both the High School and Elementary School, ridiculed and bullied for 8 years in the Giles County Tennessee School District, Richland Elementary and Richland High Schools in Lynnville,TN.
When offered to see the many photographs of the physical evidence of all the marks on her body, Officers at the Giles County Sheriff's Department and others in Authority at the school refused to even look at the pictures of what her body looked like when they sent her home Friday.
No charges have been filed even though several requests have been made to press charges against everyone involved.
Reckless Aggravated Assault on a child with mental disabilities and Reckless Endangerment of a child with mental disabilities are proper charges for all those that were assaulting Joella, all those who recorded this horrendous crime, those who assisted in trapping her in while everyone took pleasure in watching her get assaulted, those hired and paid to "serve and protect" those in the community, those who shoved water bottles in her face saying "Here horse, want a drink?", those that threw their water bottles hitting her in the face and body causing swelling to her forehead and abrasions to her face & body, and all those in place of Authority at the school for allowing this to go on the entire recess time of 45-50 minutes, not asking her what happened, not showing compassion to check her obvious injuries and get her checked out by the school nurse, not reporting this incident to ANYONE outside of the school doors, not taking the time to document any of her obvious injuries, file the proper accident report or report this incident to the Director of Schools. There have been several other violations of U.S Civil Rights Codes, Tennessee State Laws, Giles County Board of Education Policies, and the Richland High School policies.
There are several videos of this aggravated, heinous crime being committed. They were immediately shared and posted on Social Media like TikTok and Snap Chat before ONLY ONE child finally got the 7 teachers attention for help. The teachers where all located in the bus ramp area of the school SOCIALIZING while the basketball court, several hundred feet away, was packed with a crowd entrapping Joella WHILE laughing, cheering and yelling "HAW! HAW!" as she continued to try to break through the crowd of students trapping her in and preventing her from getting away from those that continued to enjoy assaulting her just for the fun of it.
