Hello!
My name is Jenna Fesemyer and I have a dream! I was born with Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency- this means when I was born, my leg never grew and I was born without a hip joint.
You think that this 'inconvenience' would change my life for the worse, however, that is not the case. I was introduced to wheelchair track in 2012 and I have fallen in love with the sport and how it has changed my life! Through track and field, I have become more well-rounded and it has given me a chance to serve others in teaching them about adaptive sports! This being my third year in wheelchair racing and my second year in throwing, I'm deciding to take my talents to the next level.
As I prepare for the State TrackMeet next week, something keeps reoccurring in my mind: competing at nationals this year in Minnesota!
This isn't Junior Nationals- this is with the big boys! I will be competing there in hopes to better myself and make it on Team USA! Nationals is June 19-21!
My passion for track and field keeps growing! It's beautiful how a simple passion or dream can overcome one's life! I'm truly blessed by the opportunities that I've had recently and I'm willing to take this next step!
All proceeds of this campaign will go strictly to flights and hotel fees! Thank you for reading about my story and my mission! Join me as Team Fesemyer pushes with purpose all the way to Nationals this year!
