Top Surgery Help

Hi! I'm Z, and I'm trying to raise funds towards my top surgery! I have a surgery date for Jan 15, 2024, and while my insurance will cover a big chunk of it, it won't cover all of it. Along with this expense, I won't have enough PTO by January to cover the time I'll need to take off work. I'm aiming to raise enough to cover the expenses not included/covered by my insurance and to take the time I need to heal afterwards. Any help is appreciated and actually, treasured!

For those of you who don't know me:
I've been out as trans/nonbinary for 5+ years, been on testosterone for almost 2 (past 2 by the time of my surgery date). I'm out in most aspects of my life, and this surgery will help me be out safely in most spheres. This surgery means a lot to me! Even before I knew I was trans, I had a disconnect and a frustration with my large breasts and knew I wanted at least a breast reduction for over a decade. This will improve my feelings about my body, my body health (looking forward to less back pain), and allow me to meet a big transition goal. This will also allow me to pass more effectively as a man when I need to and hopefully reduce strangers figuring out I'm trans because some combination of my features tipped them off. This is beneficial to my safety and my anxiety!

Details about funding goal:
I hesitated posting this before I have more information from my insurance, but I will update this with transparency as I have the insurance estimates. I just want to start trying to get money together asap because I do not want to have any hiccups for my surgery date!

In order for me to have the results I want in a masculinized chest, I was told by my surgeon I would need liposuction on both sides of my chest. This is considered "elective", and is not covered by my insurance at all.
$2,500

Surgery Appointments Needed
$120 copay for minimum appts neccesary

Losing 2 weeks work hours
$1000

Estimate online for post op supplies
$200-300

Amount not covered by insurance
$800

Rounded up to 5,000. Anything that I make over my goal/needs I will just put into other gender confirming surgery funds! I am lucky to have a stable job and housing situation and if I surpass the money I need to make ~this~ happen I want to pass that joy to others.
