Support Will's Stroke Recovery Journey
Donation protected
Our friend, William Rathbone suffered a massive Hemorrhagic Stroke on Monday, February 17th. He is only 43 years old, so to say this was unexpected and absolutely terrifying is an understatement. He is the sole provider and protector of his family.
Upon discovering his condition, Steph called 911 and Will was eventually life-flighted to the U of U. His chances were slim of surviving the level of stroke this was, but Will is a fighter! He underwent surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain and remove as much of the blood clot as possible. The surgery was a success, and his surgeon was finally able to tell Steph and the kids that he will survive.
He is currently fighting an intense case of pneumonia and is intubated and sedated. It’s difficult to assess the damage that the stroke caused at this time. Best case scenario is weeks of intense therapy and observation in SLC.
To help relieve some stress on Steph, Madi, Ryan, and Trenton, we started this GoFundMe so his family can stay close by. Will’s prognosis and needs change daily, if not hourly, and there will be a lot of commuting between Spring Creek, NV, and Salt Lake City, UT.
If you can donate money, we thank you. If you can pray and send positive vibes to them, we would be very grateful! Will is the foundation of his family, and they are reeling from this change, and the unknown is completely overwhelming. Thank you for loving this man and his beautiful family. They need the support more than they ever have.
