My name is Luis Aguilar, I’m 34 years old, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult periods of my life.
For over a year now, I have been experiencing homelessness and sleeping in my work truck while trying to stay afloat. I am currently separated, but despite everything, my top priority has always been my three beautiful children. I do everything I can to support them, contributing about $1,000 each month to make sure they are taken care of.
Lately, things have become even more challenging. I am struggling to keep up with my car payments. My vehicle is not just transportation it is my shelter and a critical part of maintaining my job. I don’t have much left to pay on it, but falling behind could mean losing the only stability I have right now.
Asking for help is not easy for me. I’ve always been someone who takes pride in handling my responsibilities on my own. But right now, I truly need support to get through this moment and move toward a more stable situation.
Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean more than I can express. Every dollar brings me closer to keeping my vehicle, maintaining my job, and continuing to support my children.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and for any support you can give. Your kindness and generosity mean everything to me.
