Best of the West Volleyball Tournament

Dears Friends & Family,

We are excited to announce that the Victoria Volleyball Association U18 Boys team will participate in the Best of the West Volleyball tournament in Calgary, Alberta, from March 31 to April 2, 2023.

This is an invitation-only tournament and we are excited and honoured to be able to participate. This tournament includes the best volleyball teams in British Columbia and Alberta. It will be a high-level competition and the boys will be able to showcase their talents. For some of them, this will be the last chance to be seen by university and college coaches and scouts before starting their post-secondary education - hopefully with a volleyball scholarship in their pocket.

This is an exciting opportunity for our team to travel and compete against some of the best volleyball teams in the country. It will be a great preparation for the Nationals. It also provides our players with a fantastic chance to develop teamwork and sportsmanship while creating long-lasting memories, friendships, and future leaders in the community.

However, the travel cost associated with such an opportunity increases the financial burden on the players' families. Therefore, we are asking for your assistance to help raise funds to cover some of the travel costs of the tournament. All funds raised will go directly toward tournament fees and expenses. Any donation, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated.
