VVA Chapter 1118's Sons of Atlanta War Memorial

I am Rev. Eldson J. McGhee, President, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter No. 1118, Inc., and I am raising funds for my Chapter's operations and programs. We are a non-project Veterans Service Organization, that assist disable veterans, active duty military personnel and their dependents. We have 12 different programs, and all of our staff are volunteers, mostly service-connected disabled Veterans. We were first established in 2001, and reorganized in 2016, but have performed our services, without stopping since 2001. Our legacy program is the Sons of Atlanta Vietnam War Memorial (www.sonsofatlanta.org), which honors the over 240 young men from Atlanta/Fulton County, GA, who were killed in the Vietnam War. This memorial will be erected in Atlanta's Historic Piedmont Park and dedicated on Memorial Day 2025.
