Please join Jennifer’s and our battle against her Glioblastoma Brain Tumor.
Jennifer Beakes is the loving and devoted wife of Kevin Lorme and the mother of her two angels, 10 year old Elizabeth, and 7 year old Helen.
Out of nowhere, our extended family was devastated to learn On Veterans Day, November 11, 2018 that our Jennifer was rushed to Lenox Hill Hospital and to our horror a massive brain tumor was discovered that fateful day. Jennifer received emergency brain surgery for 10 hours to remove the malignant Glioblastoma brain tumor 2 days later. Although surgeons removed more than 90℅ of the tumor, OUR battle has only begun.
On Monday December 3, 2018 Jennifer began the second campaign against this insidious enemy and started chemo protocol with radiation therapy. Whilst also entering a new experimental treatment therapy and being one of the first patients in the United States to receive strategic pericranial flap placement to attack the remaining cancer from her wonderful doctors at Lenox Hill hospital.
