My sweet little girl Sadie escaped out of our backyard earlier this morning. Unfortunately, someone picked her up and made the decision to toss her small body off of a freeway overpass. Somehow, she survived with only a broken leg but the fracture is bad enough that it will require surgery. My sweet girl is only a little over a year old and has a lot of life left to live. The surgery is simple and the vet assures us she will make a full recovery.
The surgery itself is going to cost three thousands dollars. This covers the xrays, the pain medication, the surgery, and all of the follow ups. We just don't have the kind of funds required to pay for her surgery. Without this surgery, I would have to put my Sadie to sleep. It breaks my heart to think of that possibility and I'm asking for anyone who could help us out at all. Anything would be appreciated. We don't have a lot of time to try and raise the money for her surgery. If you could share this story and pass it along we would be truly blessed.
