Medical Issues Strike Again

Hello, my name is Chantal. For the past few years, medical issues have plagued me. I was fired from my job because I was unable to do the tasks required of me. I fall down, forget things, tremble all over, have to do everything slowly, garble my speech if I speak too fast, have trouble learning new things or even remembering the things I already know. As of last week I use a cane to increase my stability. My medical team so far has been unable to give me a specific diagnosis - they are calling it a brain injury. I am unable to work due to the combination of symptoms I have. My doctors suggested I apply for disability - but they haven't told me how to pay my rent and utility bills in the meantime. The process for disability takes 5-6 months. I have pawned my jewelry, and listed a couple dozen items for sale on a local "yard sale" page. I own nothing of value, no credit cards, no savings, no 401K. To sum it up, I have made it thru the past month by the generosity of my neighbors/friends.  I do not know where I will get financial help going forward (I've tried many organizations - but I am not blind, am not a senior, nor do  a I have a minor child living with me...) I may be able to receive help, AFTER I get an eviction notice, and after my utilities get turned off. I am very proud and dislike asking for money, but necessity is stronger than pride. Any little bit you can spare would be helpful. In the meantime, my symptoms continue to worsen....Thank you all.
