My 24 year old son passed away recently due to a life long battle with a rare genetic liver diease. He was born July 24th 1994. He was 2 months premature. At just a few months old he was diagnosed with a rare disease called LCHAD. His original life expectancy was only 12 years. Aaron spent most of his child hood in the hospital battling this horrible disease. This disease affected his liver, heart, kidneys, immune system and took his sight as a young child. He suffered many episodes that landed him in ICU many times. Aarons heart took the most damage and as a result of the many rabdomyalysis. He couldn't regenerate muscel tissue so had difficulty walking and balancing .
Aaron lost his fight and ended up out-living what most doctors thought. His goal in life was to be a psychologist and work with terminally and acutely ill children because he knew what they were dealing with and battling everyday.
Because of his medical issues he was un insurable so he had no life insurance.
He was also a proud member of the Northfield Lions Club. He enjoyed volunteering and helping others.
We desperately need to get him a head stone for his grave and any help would be appreciated
We are 1/2 way there. Please help if you can.
This is the last thing i can give my son and he deserves the best.
