Doing it for David

I lost my love, my world, my wonderful husband David on the 6th of April 2020. Suddenly, without warning he was taken from us. A huge hole has been left in our lives, his death has been felt by so many. That's just how adored he is. This fundraiser has been set up in his honour, to raise funds for Beaumont Hospital who looked after him so well in his final days. We are enternally grateful to all the Nurses, Doctors and Staff there and also his own colleagues in DFB who worked tirelessly on David,  giving us those 3 precious days with him to say goodbye, thank you.

David was a proud member of Dublin Fire Brigade, a fit and healthy guy, when not working he was usually found in the gym, cycling or walking his beloved pooch Blondie. David and some of his crew members on C watch no. 5, Finglas Station had planned to do a 100km cycle in Athlone on 9th April, the day we buried David.  I am doing the cycle for David with his crew, along with his Dad Jack, Brother Paul, Uncle Patrick, Cousin Keith and Sister in Law Clare. We are #DoingItForDavid. 

The cycle will take place on Thursday 24th September, David's 38th Birthday. Any donation big or small will help other families and patients during the toughest time of their lives so thank you, in advance, for your generous donation!
