This isn't an easy thing to ask for help. So I do so with respect, humility, and guilt, for I have always strived to survive regardless of the struggle or obstacles.

I am 40 years old and have some medical issues. Back injury L3 and 4. I work as often as possible in labor trades. I am currently homeless. I started college to make a way for myself in the future in cyber security.

I'm having trouble making it. Last year, I bought myself a car, put it on the road, and after ten years without a license, paid almost 5k to get legal and be able to travel for my doctor's appointments and counseling, as well as work and school. The car I bought had a head gasket let go after putting over 1000 into it on top of the original cost and making it legal. While driving to my doctor's on my motorcycle, not realizing that my permit had since expired, I got pulled over and fined for operating without a bike permit. Since then, I've missed court and been jailed because transportation is so hard. Being unhoused, it all has gotten to be a lot. All the while, I continue school, making good grades and hoping things will work out. They have not. So I'm asking for your charity and goodwill to help reinstate my license and get a roadworthy vehicle on the road so I can continue to work as much as possible, pay for my schooling, and, God willing, find a place for either my camper and me or possibly a winter rental to get out of the cold.

I would like to also take more classes in order to graduate in the 4 years it takes to come to my bachelor's degree in cyber security and make a career to live and make a way in these hard times. I'm not looking for a handout, but God willing, someone sees me and is able to show a hand up. I would not take it for granted and will forever be grateful, someday able to pay it forward to the next in my shoes, trying desperately to make something of themselves and coming up short, in no short of trying their best.
