Financial Support for STS Students at Uni Wien

Help us support our student community!

Starting a new semester can come with a lot of stress for students who are faced with another round of tuition fees, either because they are third-country nationals or because they simply need longer to complete the degree than the university allows. To add to this, third-country nationals are not eligible for the Performance Scholarship, a fact that they are often only made aware of while applying.

We want to help our fellow students carry some of this financial burden by collecting funds to be redistributed equally among those in need. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated. The fundraiser will run until 28 February, when the funds will be redistributed.

A couple of disclaimers:

1. This fundraiser is organised by students and is completely independent of the STS Department at Uni Wien itself.

2. Even if donations are anonymous, the person running this fundraiser will be able to see who donated how much. However, this information will be kept in the strictest confidence and not shared with anyone, including the other students associated with this campaign.
