Brain surgery fund

Donation protected
14 years ago I started having seizures out of nowhere. It wasn't until 2 years ago when I was sent to Stanford Neuroscience in Palo Alto CA, that we found out I was born with what they call cortical dysplasia. It's where the brain doesn't form properly, so I've had it all my life just didn't know it. It didn't present itself until I was 27 with 3 kids under 6. So with all that being said, I'm scheduled for my first brain surgery on August 23rd at Stanford. They are doing an internal SEEG. They will drill holes, and put internal wires into the brain to map out the seizure pattern to get the exact location. I  will be in the hospital for monitoring, for 5 to 10 days. Then hopefully in 8 weeks or so after that, they will do the 2nd brain  surgery to put in a device called RNS,  Responsive Neuro  Stimulation Device. I will be in the hospital for about a 3 days for observation for that procedure also. So Gene is going to have to take 3 weeks of time off work to be with me between these appointments, and he's out of sick days because of all my other Dr appointments. Also he has to pay for somewhere to stay while I'm at Stanford, and our Co insurance. If you can give, that would be a blessing to us. Most of all, PLEASE PRAY for me and my family. For the last year the Drs have wanted to do these surgery's and I have said no, but now my body just isn't tolerating the medication and really, Its the best option at this point. My family obviously doesn't choose this option, but I know God is always for me and He works all things for my good!! I love you all, and hugs make everything better!
