To know Xavier is to know generosity, happiness and courage. Someone who is always willing to help anyone without ever asking for anything in return. Unfortunately, this past February Xavier had some issues with his breathing, eventually they got so bad we had to take him into the ER. After 11 days in the hospital and multiple tests and procedures, doctors found a large mass/tumor in his chest that was cancerous. A “Germ cell tumor”. Because of the severity of the situation and all the issues that this mass was causing for him, the doctors wanted to act immediately and begin treatment right away. He is currently going through a very aggressive chemotherapy treatment that will hopefully shrink or get rid of the mass completely.
As many of you could imagine this has been a very stressful time for all of us especially him. He’s kept a great spirit and a smile throughout this whole process and will not take him down. Unfortunately, bills and life haven’t stopped, he hasn’t been able to work for months and with recovery and potential surgery we are not sure when things will get back to normal for him. Let’s make this time a little less stressful for him and our family and help him out in whatever way we can. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read this and donate to alleviate his burden. If you’re unable to donate, we would deeply appreciate if you could share this with others. We will forever be grateful.
With love,
Xavier’s family
