Help Mike Fight Cancer

 
My name is Judy Smothermon, my husband Brent and I have been friends with Mike and Janet since we first meet 35 years ago in Austin Texas, Mike is in need of your prayers and support.

Three weeks ago Mike went for his yearly check-up, one of the blood test that was taken concerned the doctors enough to send him straight to the hospital. Hours later it was confirmed they had found a Lung Mass, in his lower left lung and have diagnosed Mike with "High grade Neuroendocrine Carcinoma.
He has already had 4 rounds of chemo in 3 days, he will repeat this every 3 weeks for 3 days at a time, these treatments will go on for a long time.
As you can imagine this news has been very hard for both Mike and his family and for all of you that are just now hearing this for the first time.
Mike does not have health insurance to cover the care of treatments he is needing plus he has had to pull back on his work load due to lack of energy.
We are hoping to raise enough money to pay for past and future treatments needed as he continues in his recovery. Your donations would be greatly appreciated. Every little donation helps.
