Help the Vu Family Rebuild After a Devastating Fire
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
I’m writing this on behalf of my parents Jennifer Vu (61) and Joseph Vu (63).
This past year has been the hardest our family has ever faced. My mom has been bravely recovering from cancer, and we recently lost my beloved grandfather, leaving us emotionally and financially drained. And now, a tragic house fire has turned our world upside down.
The fire destroyed everything my parents owned, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Even more heartbreaking, two courageous firefighters were injured while protecting our community during the blaze.
While we are grateful everyone survived, rebuilding feels like an impossible mountain to climb.
Our family is facing immense challenges, and we’re reaching out for help to cover:
- Essentials: Clothing, toiletries, and other necessities they’ve lost in the fire.
- Rebuilding Costs: Funds to rebuild our home and regain a sense of stability.
- Medication: My mothers medication to take care of chronic illnesses.
- Gratitude towards Fire Fighters: We heard 2 fire fighters were injured protecting lives and the community. We’d love to show them, and the rest of the fire department, gratitude towards their sacrifices and hard work.
This year has tested us in ways we never imagined, but we’ve also seen how incredible people can be in times of need. Your generosity—whether through donations or simply sharing our story—would mean the world to us.
