As many of you know, I've been in renal failure for quite some time now.
I'm going through various programs to get approved to be on the kidney transplant list. As part of the requirements, I need to be able to show that I will be able to afford my insurance and prescription costs for all the medication I will be on for one year post transplant.
My current income makes it impossible to afford my insurance and medication. Currently my insurance is paid for by the American Kidney Foundation, but that assistance goes away as soon as a transplant is performed.
The cost for my insurance and prescription copays is roughly $1,200.00 per month. Any help that you can spare would be greatly appreciated.
