Hello, My name is Ariel and I am a 22 year-old transgender man (he/him) from Costa Rica trying to raise funds to cover for my top surgery and the trip I need to make outside of my country in order to have this surgery done. I am also saving from my own income however I am in need of help to cover for it and my recovery. Other than asking for funding, I would like to add that this surgery will improve my quality of life by 100%. I’ve been waiting for over 4 years to be able to have this done and I know that a lot of my gender dysphoria will be gone after this, which will also help and improve my mental health. Transitioning has been difficult but so beautiful at the same time, discovering myself and finding out who I actually am has taught me so much about life and others as well, this next step in my transition is one of the most exciting things I can think I’ve planned in my life. Surgery in Colombia: $3,000 USD

Accommodation in Colombia: $750 for 3 week stay

Plane tickets for Ariel and care team (2 additional people): $260-$350 each from Costa Rica to Colombia, $650 from Seattle to Colombia

Care items post-surgery: $200

Food: $500-700
