Hi, My name is Sean and I live in London

In July 2024 a stray cat came into my life, she was heavily pregnant, hungry and very tired.

I started to feed her, let her stay with me, day by day she got used to me. She had just over a month to go before she had three boys .

I named mum, Maude as she was so tiny. My granny was called Maude and she was tiny.

The boys i called them, Mo, Ollie and Seamus.

They were born at 04:00 on the 26th of July 2024 and I was there for Mummy Maude

I had Maude spayed, the boys snipped and chipped!! Injections done

Mo went out one day, he never came back home. I looked high and low for him, I put posters up everywhere, leaflets everywhere but nothing.

I still had Seamus and Ollie and Maude, and I had a little family with a nice home and with lots of love and cuddles

I have a very rare bone disease called McCune Albright Syndrome, it mainly affects my face and head.

After having surgery in 2022 ive had the worst neuro pain imaginable, they took away some of my skull.

My condition makes me very tired at the best of times. I haven't been able to work in the last 18 months

I had a full knee replacement last February and its taken me a year to recover.

Im going back in for another full knee replacement in March which will probably take another year to recover.

Ollie was quite poorly on the morning of the 29th of January which was just over a week ago.
.
I took him to the nearest vet, I thought it would be maybe some antibiotics and some nice rest

I went up the same day at teatime to see how things were doing?

The vet said they were going to keep Ollie in overnight and see how he was the next morning.

They had scanned and used X Rays to try see what was going on in his intestine.

The vet said they needed to open him up and see what was going on.

The vet called and said the vet bill was £4,400.

They asked me if I wanted to proceed? They said if he was to be woken up from the anaesthetic he would need hospitalisation, ongoing care and that the vet bill would be massive.

What did I want to do said the vet? With a very heavy heart, I said to bot wake Ollie up and to put him to sleep

Ollie used to sleep down the side of me, he'd tap my hand at precisely 07:00 for his breakfast.

Ive cried and I've cried, nothing will bring him back, I have his memories with me forever.

Im reaching out because my vet bill has left me in a really difficult financial position.

Any contribution no matter how small, would help me manage this unexpected cost, Im incredibly grateful for any support-even sharing this page would mean the world to me.
