Support a Passionate Special Education Teacher as she recovers from Severe Eosinophilic Diseases.
For nearly five years, a devoted Ukiah High School Special Education Teacher in the Supported Education Program has brought compassion, creativity, and unwavering commitment to her special day class students. Her classroom was a place of growth, encouragement, and belonging — a space where every student was seen, heard, and supported.
Unfortunately, ongoing health challenges from viral infections from in the classroom, have damaged her immune system. High Eosinophilis (white blood cells) normally designed to protect the body from viruses, bacteria and parasites, are now attacking her organ systems. Her condition is challenging to manage and requires a team of specialists and time to find the best therapeutic medication and life style changes.
While this disease comes with uncertainty, its important to stay positive and hope for the best as new medications are being developed, offering the potential for a better quality of life in the future.
We’re launching this GoFundMe to support her as she transitions into this next chapter of uncertainty. The funds will cover essential living and medical expenses while she focuses on rest, recovery, and discovering new ways to continue making a difference.
If you’ve ever been touched by a teacher's care, you know how deeply they give. Now, it’s our chance to give back. Every donation, big or small, shows love, support, and gratitude.
Thank you for helping uplift someone who has spent years uplifting others.
