In Loving Memory of Vanessa Testani
Donation protected
My name is Corinne Armenia Swartz from North Massapequa, NY. I am the sister of Vanessa Testani. Vanessa passed June 27th, 2020 after a long-hard fought battle with cancer. Vanessa was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in 2018. Glioblastoma is an aggressive type of cancer that occurs in the brain. The cancer was crippling in how it took away aspects of Vanessa and her family's everyday life. Vanessa is wife to husband Mario and mother to their three children; Antonio (12), Luca (10), and Milania (6). If you knew Vanessa, you know how her presence could fill any room with love and happiness. Vanessa's pure heart and personality touched everyone she came across, it was her positive reflection on the world that made for the precious memories we shared. Thank you for your love and support you’ve shown our family at this time. We’ve decided to politely decline floral arrangements for the funeral. We’d like to use this platform to pay tribute and remembrance to the beautiful life of Vanessa. To live in all of our hearts and beyond, we are fundraising in two ways. A percentage of the proceeds will raise money to Glioblastoma research. The second portion will be used to help us kick-start, The Vanessa Testani scholarship. This scholarship will enable students of H. Frank Carey High School to receive assistance to complete their college degree. The Vanessa Testani scholarship came to fruition as an extension of Vanessa's willingness to help and unfathomable generosity. Our efforts now will help us continue to raise awareness about Glioblastoma and celebrate the life of Vanessa Testani for years to come.
