My Mom (Ginny) & Dad (Bill) have been married for 42 years. They have been through some tough times and have always made it out ... together ...  Sadly, after battling Dementia and a fall that resulted in his pelvis being fractured in 2 places my dad passed away Thursday, June 20th, 2019.
     My mom is trying to pick up the pieces. She has always been too proud to ask for help ... that is why I have started this campaign for her. She has a stacks of medical bills and she got SCREWED by Medicaid. (that is a WHOLE other story)  My dad did not have life insurance. No matter how many times she tried to prepare for things like this something always came up to where she needed to money for something else. She and dad always said, "they were born poor, they married poor, they are going to die poor."
     My mom works for the school system in the cafeteria so she will not have a paycheck for a few months. All the money she had saved for the summer went to taking care of my dad. 
     There are still storm damages and wear and tear around her house/property that she just does not have the money to fix. She was taking care of my dad so those projects had to fall by the wayside. They are now even worse and need to be fixed as soon as possible. The driveway is washing away, her roof and wall are so soggy and need to be replaced, and her shed is on the verge of collapsing just to name a few. 
    My mom and dad have always given anyone who needed it the shirt off their back. They make sure that everyone is taken care of before themselves. They have worked so hard for their entire adult lives and still fall short.
