My name is Coleen. My best friend is like my sister. She had a stroke back in June. Connie is unable to use her whole left side & cant walk without assistance. She has no insurance. So, the hospital sent her home without any help or resources. She has no money for P/T, doctors & now her car broke down . So has no way to even go anywhere. Has no money for rent or bills. I live over 600 miles away so, I’m unable to help. Connie wrote this on facebook the other day

Here’s a little slice of my life. Since my stroke 4 months ago, a lot has changed. I have no use of my left arm & hand. I walk with help only. Left side on my mouth is numb .. but, I’m finally getting my taste back so I can enjoy some foods. I choke often, due to my throat not working correctly. Every evening Aeric helps with my left foot & arm, trying to get my brain to make new pathways so maybe one day I can be independent again please help.

These funds we collect will be used for physical therapy, doctor’s appointments & unfortunately rent. She are struggling in every way imaginable with this she will get stronger & better with everyone’s help
