Hurricane Melissa Relief Drive — Rebuilding Hope Together

My name is Andre Brown, and I am the Founder and CEO of Sobe Holdings Limited, based in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Sobe Holdings is a local company dedicated to supporting community growth and empowerment through social and economic initiatives across the island.

In light of the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa, I have launched this GoFundMe campaign to support families, small business owners, and local operators in our region who have been severely impacted by the storm. Many have lost their homes, personal belongings, and means of earning an income. This relief drive is our way of standing together as a community and helping those most affected to recover and rebuild.

I have strong personal ties to the communities we are assisting — Sobe Holdings works directly with residents, small business owners, and drivers through our local partnerships and outreach programs. This allows us to identify genuine cases of need and ensure that funds are distributed transparently and fairly.

How the Funds Will Be Used

All donations will go directly toward:

• Emergency relief supplies (food, clean water, hygiene kits, clothing)

• Rebuilding efforts (roofing, home repairs, materials, and tools)

• Support for displaced families (temporary housing assistance)

• Small business recovery grants (to help local vendors and operators restart operations)

We will post regular updates showing how contributions are being used, including photos and reports from on-the-ground efforts. Accountability is a top priority, and every dollar raised will go toward the purposes outlined above.
