My husband, Josh, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. While it is primarily in his liver, it is spread throughout his body, in his chest, liver, spine, and bones. We were told last week that the treatment is not working, and due to the condition of his liver, we are out of treatment options. We have been referred to Hospice Home Care with a timeline of a few weeks to a few months, our goal now is to keep him comfortable for whatever time we have left with him. We want his remaining time to be stress and worry free, and to be filled with joy and to make memories that his children can hold in their hearts forever. While we have excellent medical insurance, and life insurance, we are finding that while we are able to cover our expenses, the medical costs are mounting, and we would like to be able to provide a little extra for our children during this time, and to be able to do some of the things that we had planned for “someday”, and we could use some assistance. Keaton, Kolton, Izabella, and Olivia are showing astounding bravery and strength, but they are devastated and we are just wanting to be able to cram as many memories and do everything we can as a family with the time we have left with their beloved father.
