VT Women's Rugby goes to 2018 CRC

Virginia Tech Women's Rugby has been invited to the 2018 Collegiate Rugby Championships hosted in Philadelphia, PA. The CRC is the highest profile rugby sevens tournament in the United States as only the top men's and women's teams in the country are exclusively invited. In addition, select games will be showcased live on ESPN. To be invited to such a prestigious tournament is by far one of our greatest achievements. 

As a first year sevens team starting from ground zero, we have been struggling to fund the team's training, traveling, and tournament fees, which is why we are reaching out and asking that you consider donating to help us fund these expenses. To compete against high level teams, we are sometimes required to travel for hours and stay in hotels which quickly becomes expensive. In addition, the team has increased their training to 2x a day with a personal trainer to ensure they are able to compete against the highest level of competition. However, the women who make up this team are superior athletes and rugby players who are determined to become successful against all odds. With the help of your donation, we can send the Virginia Tech Women's Rugby Team to the 2018 CRC to represent their school and the Hokie Nation!
