For years, Virginia Tech’s Linking Lives program has worked with NGO’s from Rwanda. . This April, a group of 12 Virginia Tech Students will travel to Rilima, Rwanda in partnership with Fondazione Marcegaglia Onlus (or FMO). During our time in Rilima, we will be working on community projects such as painting murals, building a house, gardening, building cow sheds, and engaging in cultural exchange with FMO scholarship students.
To repay the generosity of the community for allowing us to come and learn about Rwanda, we are asking for donations to help us fund small projects throughout the community. All funds raised will go to FMO in Rilima to continue community improvement projects! In past years, donations have been used to build a house for a female genocide survivor and her family.
Any contributions are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
