Roy 'Dale' Fisher, beloved husband, father, brother, friend, entered into eternal glory with his Lord on Saturday, Sept 25th. Dale joined the US Army at age 26 with the intention of serving long term. He served his country well and spent half of his life as a disabled veteran. He also worked hard in the lawn maintenance business as the sole provider for his family.
The family battled Covid back in July, but Dale was having a harder time beating it. He was admitted to the hospital on July 31st. There were many ups and downs in his fight, at one point it was thought he might be able to make it back to his earthly home, but the Lord called Dale to Himself.
He leaves behind his bride of 20 years. Becky has been a faithful wife, mom, and homeschooling teacher to their beautiful 14 yo daughter and 19 yo son. She is now left with figuring out her new role of provider.
This special family has many difficult hurdles ahead of them. They are currently in a dangerous living situation. Their current rental home is not structurally sound and needs mold remediation. It is also situated in a dangerous neighborhood and Dale had a specific request to take care of his family and keep them safe. The current goal is to purchase a trailer they can live in temporarily, until they are able to find something more permanent.
The Fishers are incredibly faithful and loving, always insisting on helping and giving whereever they can. Becky can always be found serving somewhere...Sunday School, AHG, Meals on Wheels, Hope Pregnancy Center, Food Pantry, you name it, she's doing it! They have always hated to be on the receiving end, but they are in a grave financial situation. Our financial goal is to help them through this transition as they figure out what God has planned for them. Becky has seen the Lord provide over and over again, and then again. She is trying hard to trust Him with every step in this most difficult time in her life.
Thank you to those who have prayed, provided rides or meals, and gift cards. Every gift has been so appreciated and the family has seen Jesus through you. Please continue to pray for this precious family and please consider helping them with a financial gift. All funds will go directly to meeting the family's immediate needs. Thank you and may God's Blessings be upon You.
