Hello and thank you for taking the time to read our story.  My name is Monique, my sister Juanita and I lost our mother Yvonne early Monday morning.  First and foremost we would like to thank everyone for the calls, love, and prayers being sent our way. Our mother has been so strong her entire life and put up a fight until the very end.  We were told we still had a few months with her, and though we knew the end was near nothing can prepare you for the loss of a mother, especially one like ours.  

My sister has been her full-time primary caretaker for over 5 years and I help with everything that I can.   We are her only surviving children and given our limited income we are asking that in lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to assist with the unexpected funeral expenses that unfortunately were unplanned for.  Our Yvonne was an amazing woman, daughter, mother, friend and we want to honor her beautiful memory. Asking for help is the hardest request we've ever had to make, but she truly deserves so much more than we are able to provide.  Her final request was to go home, Oxnard,California and have her ashes scattered in the ocean.  We will also be having a memorial service on Monday March 28th.  All funds received will be used for the memorial service, funeral expenses and church reservation.  

We would like thank you for all of your support and very kind words during this time.  Please keep our Yvonne in your hearts and prayers and know she is no longer suffering.  We find comfort knowing she is at peace and reunited with her only son in heaven.  God bless you.
