Support for Shannon to Cover Neurosurgery Expenses
On June 14, 2023, Shannon Horstman was rushed into brain surgery to remove a rare benign tumor from her pituitary gland. Unfortunately, the first surgery was not successful, so, on June 24, she went under the knife again for a more advanced procedure.
Shannon will owe approximately $15,000 (her insurance’s out-of-pocket max) for the following medical expenses:
- 4 CT scans
- 4 MRIs
- 2 advanced neurological surgeries
- 2 anesthesiologists
- 10 days of round-the-clock care in an ICU
Shannon has been unable to work since Sunday, June 11 and will require continued care and time off to recover from back-to-back neurological procedures.
We are deeply grateful for your support — thank you so much,
Katy, Aimee, Rachel, Kim, Kali, Ripley, Yana & Ray (Shannon’s work family)
