FullLyfe is a positive youth development program I created to give kids tools to become active facilitators of their growth and their future. Our curriculum is grounded in the Self Determination Theory, by aiming to raise levels of self efficacy, support autonomy, and create a feeling of connectedness. We aim to help kids live lives authenticity, grow from their struggles and create and move towards a positive vision of success for themselves and the world around them.
I've been growing this company through my work for the past two years. Right when I was ready to launch and get work done by an amazing brand consultant, I lost my assistantship at George Mason because of a technicality error with my internship and it forced me to have to spend all of my start up money on tuition that I was retroactively charged, on top of losing my job at Mason and my position as the program coordinator for a living learning community.
I am currently applying for new positions but I am afraid that if I put this dream on the back burner, we will lose momentum. We have created a community of adults and kids, teachers and parents, friends and family and all have a great desire to bring this work to as many kids as possible.
I am asking for $3500 to help with legal start up fees, trademarks and a work done by a brand consultant who I KNOW will take this from local to the next level. I am forever grateful for anything you can give and will be happy to help you out if the time ever comes.
Thank you for helping me create my vision.
