We need help getting on our feet

I met with a landlord and toured an apartment today, I have the application in hand, filled out, have the pet fee covered with donations, just need a little more help to make this happen and have a safe place to live. Thank so very much for all of your help so far, even just sharing helps.

Anyone that really knows me, knows that I have an extremely difficult time asking for and accepting help. It’s come to the point that I need to ask for help. My 16 year old Elliott, our fur babies and I are in desperate need of a place to live because we cannot stay where we’ve been. (Supposed to have been out on 5/31) I have been turned away from pretty much every agency because my income is just over the limit. (They don’t care what your monthly bills are) I finally found a program that will help with security deposit and first months rent, but only if I find a place/landlord willing to work with me within 30 days, and I’m very quickly running out of time! I think I found one, but I don’t have the money to pay the pet fee, what I have to pay to get the utilities turned on any other moving expenses. I work full time and started doing Uber Eats a few days ago to try to make money, but haven’t made anywhere near enough to make ends meet. I filed for child support, but still waiting for our court date. There is no way that I can come up with anywhere near enough money in time. I never in my life would have imagined that my child and I would have to worry about where we can sleep at night. As some of you know, we’ve been living through a nightmare for years and just can’t catch a break. We just need some help to get back on our feet. If anyone is able to help out, we will be eternally grateful.
