Hiking for Mental Health

Tax deductible
The physical toll of the COVID pandemic has been enormous.  In the US alone, there have been 5 million cases and nearly 165,000 deaths.  It has also had a painful impact on many people’s mental health.  Not only have those that have gotten the disease suffered greatly, but so have their families and friends, and the doctors and nurses who work to care for them.  More broadly, isolation and financial uncertainty due to COVID have generated added stress.

Mental health was a challenge to many, even before COVID.

We plan to hike the Sunapee-Ragged-Kearsage Greenway (SRKG) in New Hampshire — 75 miles in 5 days — to raise money for (and awareness of) the mental health challenges faced by Americans today.  Our plan is to donate what we raise to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).  NAMI.org.

Join us in supporting mental health.

PS - In September of 1994, our father/grandfather was one of the first three people to complete the SRKG.  Twenty five (or so) years later, we would like to follow in his footsteps.
