On the night of March 17th, 2026, Cassidy was injured while leaving a St. Patrick’s Day event in Scottsdale, Arizona. Cass was on foot when she was struck by a vehicle, which resulted in life-threatening injuries. She was rushed to a nearby hospital as a level 5 trauma.
Cassidy remains at the hospital, sedated and intubated. She has experienced traumatic brain injuries, including bleeding and swelling that required emergency surgery to relieve pressure. She has also sustained multiple spinal fractures. Right now, she is in critical condition, and the days ahead are the start of a long journey to recovery.
Cassidy is 29 years old and originally from California. She attended UC Davis, where she studied psychology and linguistics. Over the past year, she had set out on a new journey, exploring new places and opportunities, which most recently included moving to Arizona on her own.
Everyone who knows her can attest to her free spirit and uniqueness- always cracking a new joke you haven’t heard, singing and playing all genres of music on her ukelele, and just generally being her true self at all times. She spends most of her time playing ukulele and singing.
