Hi, my name is Aleighcia Scott and I’m a Welsh/Jamaican artist and presenter

Next month, I’ll be travelling to Jamaica and supporting the work of South Wales Jamaica Society and Give Back Jamaica by helping to deliver essential supply packs to communities still suffering from the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Melissa. While the headlines have moved on, many families are still living without basic necessities — some without proper shelter, food, or access to everyday essentials we often take for granted.

I am hoping to raise £1,000, which would allow us to support at least two community drops. Each drop costs £500 and goes directly towards providing essential items such as food, hygiene products, and basic supplies to those most in need. Every penny raised will go directly to Give Back Jamaica, ensuring the funds are used solely to support communities still facing incredibly difficult circumstances. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help bring immediate relief, hope, and dignity to those affected. Thank you so much for your support — it truly means more than words can say!
