Raising money for cancer for a child & her family

My name is Kristina. Me & my family are trying to do everything we can to help my friend & her daughter. We all live together at the moment. Gabriella is only 9 yrs old and she was born Epileptic. Tragically we have gotten some terrible news going into this new year 2020. Gabby is also suffering from a cancerous mass on her brain. Test result have just came back recently as Neuroblastoma, which is the type of cancer she has. Unfortunately we're far from rich and we have a lot of appointments that we have to make sure we get her to. She also just had a shunt or known as a VP, which has been placed under the skin in her brain to drain the CSF (spinal fluid) from her brain to her stomach. As of now she hasnt been able to attend school due to her illness and the fact that she has 3-4 doctor & physical therapy appointments a week. She will also be starting Chemo Therapy soon. Right now things are very stressful and Gabby needs constant supervision and care, that it's almost impossible for her mother to hold down a job because of the constant back & fourth to appointments, while still trying to also provide for her other daughter who isn't ILL or bed bound. She needs as much support & donations as she can get. This is only the beginning of a long road ahead for us all. The mother currently has no vehicle or means of transportation. She also has to have a babysitter to watch one or both of her children time to time so she can still take care of her business as well. Even though we're struggling right now just to keep lights & water on plus rent, the one good thing that has come out of this situation is Gabby. Even though she's going through a tough time, she's a strong little 9yr old, who has really taught us as adults alot about our outlook on life. She in many ways has also humbled us more and is a fighter. But she's not alone because we're here fighting with & for her everyday. Its encouraging to see a child so young with such a serious and life threatening illness to be as strong as she is throughout the whole situation. We're doing everything we can afford to do. Gabby & family is in a uphill battle, but we dont have to fight it alone. As a family we just ask for any type of donation. We appreciate everything no matter how small or big the donation is, every cent counts. We also would appreciate if anyone that sees and reads this to please share it with others, friends, family members, social media, etc: This has started out a very hard year and devastating news, but through all the darkness we believe there's a light at the end of the tunnel and we plan on seeing that light eventually in full view. As of now all we can do is take it 1 day at a time. Between bills piling up and having to pay for rides, food, and regular household items etc; We just don't have enough money to keep up with everything. So anyone who donates, primarily money or if your not exactly in a position to give any money but can give anything else that will be resourceful to us we appreciate it all. Please send prayers & positive energy because we're definitely sending ours back to everyone. Our goal is $20,000 but even if we get close to half of that we will be very greatful. Anything will help so we can keep a roof on our head, have heat, water, and making sure Gabby gets back and fourth to all her Doc Appts, medications, rehab therapy and there will be more as we go along and get ready to start Chemo.
