Help a Mother Protect Her Children

We have an amazing family friend who has four young kiddos. We have known her and her husband and kids for almost a decade. Over the weekend, our friend discovered that her husband has been molesting her daughters while she’s been working night shifts at her job.

This has been devastating for her. She is in the process of navigating a legal system that isn’t very helpful, while still working and trying to protect her children from this monster.

I am asking for your help. If you can spare even $5 toward this mom and her kids, please do it. We’ve helped with hotel lodging and food for the weekend, so she and her kids can get away from him while she figures out how to keep them safe, but they need more help than we can give.

They are already a low income family. My friend works long hours and goes to school so she has can get a better paying job, but they are paycheck to paycheck, and that was with the husband’s small income.

Let us help this amazing mom while she tries to find justice for her kids and keep them safe. They will need to still pay bills and figure out childcare and housing, now that she is doing this on her own, all while trying to navigate putting this monster in jail.

There is not a lot of help available in her area and while we are trying to find resources, social services has warned her that she can lose her kids if she can’t keep the kids housed and away from him. Meanwhile, he has not left their family home and they cannot afford a hotel for much longer.
