Connor's Medical Fund!

Connor has had many medical issues since he was only a few months old. Despite constant doctor and hospital visits Connors medical issues still remain largely undiagnosed. He has had swallow studies done (among many other tests) which show he is a chronic aspirator. Since September Connor has had a permanent feeding tube surgically placed in his stomach in which all of his liquids are administered. Due to complications with his feeding tube Connor has to now remain hooked up to a feeding pump 12 hrs a day changing all of our lives dramatically. Connor has significant lung damage due to his months of undiagnosed aspiration.  Con sees multiple specialists at Albany Med (seven to be exact),  has been admitted on many occasions for testing or sickness and has seemingly come close to a diagnosis- doctors are still puzzled as to what all his symptoms mean. As time goes on his lungs worsen and hes losing more and more weight inexplicably. We have recently been referred to bring Connor to Boston Childrens Hospital's aerodigestive clinic and are hopeful we will finally have some answers to Connors constant medical problems. Connors constant appointments, expensive medications not covered by insurance, hospital stays (mommys time off is unpaid now due to her being out of time at work), and medical supplies needed for his tube have left mommy and daddy financially tight! With the impending Boston trips ahead and normal weekly (or more) appointments mommy and daddy are becoming increasingly worried as to how we are going to continue down this road and give Connor all the opportunities he truly deserves.
