Hey, my name is Cassie, and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my dear friends Sharni and Matt, who are going through an incredibly tough time right now.

Sharni and Matt are parents to a beautiful son who lives with a disability and requires reliable transport for appointments, therapies, and daily care. Unfortunately, their only car, which is absolutely essential for their son’s needs, has suffered a major breakdown — the motor has completely ceased, making it undrivable.

As if that wasn’t enough, overnight someone vandalised the vehicle and smashed the windscreen, leaving them without any safe or usable transport at all.

This car is not a luxury for their family — it is a lifeline. Without it, they are struggling to get their son to the places he needs to be, and the cost to repair or replace the vehicle is far more than they can manage on their own right now.

I am asking for help on their behalf to ease some of the stress they are facing and to help them get back on their feet. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference to this family. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would mean just as much.
