Hi my name is Gwendolyn Cowan I am the mother of VeJaye anyone who truly knows him knows that he is truly a cool kid, great football player, he helps others, has a job at KFC and Kohl’s. His mouth can be rough at times but he is good about checking himself and apologizing. Well Sunday June 11th at 4am he was rushed to the hospital in pain. Upon arriving he went through a series of tests. We found out that he had blood clots on both his lungs and a big one on his leg. The doctors informed us that if he had not come right then I would be planning his funeral. We have been in the ICU ever since. With the attention, daily shots and treatments he needs I will be unable to work for the next six weeks or more depending on tests and scans. He will not be able to play football or any contact sport. I need help to keep our home afloat and make sure I can cover the things that he needs. If you can find it in your heart to help us please do. If not we appreciate prayers as well!! I do not believe in asking for help but in this situation my hands are tied.
