On Friday, May 15th, 2015 Bill Miller was admitted to Einstein Medical Hospital due to a sharp shooting back pain that began to restrict his breathing.  Two weeks later, after a several different tests, Bill was diagnosed with stage four-kidney cancer. The cancer has already spread to his lungs and chest. The doctors plan to operate on Bill’s kidney and take out anywhere from half of the organ to the whole kidney itself. As for Bill’s lungs and chest the doctors plan to treat that with antibiotics and several medications.


Bill has been out of work for almost two weeks now and the medical bills are already starting to pile up. In such a stressful, hard, and scary time finical problems should be the least of Bill’s worries.


Personally, I call Bill Miller Uncle Bill, but he is so much more than that. Uncle Bill is my rock, my support system, and my second dad. So, now it is time for me to be his support system.
