We raised £5000 in our first cohort and so far we’ve been able to equip 22 developers (8 females and 14 male)across various states with resources ( Laptops, courses, co-working space and mentorship) to excel in their various fields.
We currently have candidates in these fields.
- Frontend Development with React
- Backend Development with Node
- Data Science with Python
- Mobile Application development.
We hope to expand this second cohort to other states to support the growing tech talents there.
With the growing ecosystem in Zambia, we’ve gotten a lot of requests and would be supporting developers there in this next cohort.
We do not only give out resources(Laptops, internet access, access to co-working space and mentorship), we make sure to monitor as we take security of the provided resources very serious. We use a 4 stage assessment test and interview to guarantee this.
